In 1993 - 1995 as part of the privatisation of British Rail, BR Business Systems was sold to the SEMA Group plc. In 2001 SEMA Group plc was acquired by Schlumberger to become SchlumbergerSema. In 2004 the company was acquired by Atos Origin.
